When you sign up, you’ll read and sign a form that authorizes PicnicHealth to request your health records on your behalf. You can e-sign this form online — no printing or mailing involved. Your doctor will then know that it is okay to share your health records with PicnicHealth.
PicnicHealth is a service specialized in helping people collect and manage their health records.
It takes about 3 to 4 weeks to retrieve your historical records. How long it takes depends on how quickly your doctors respond to PicnicHealth's requests for your records. If you have a request that is particularly urgent for an upcoming appointment, please include this information when you are requesting the record or email us at baseline@picnichealth.com.
PicnicHealth takes privacy very seriously. Your personal data never gets shared without your permission. Your health records are kept safe using the highest encryption standard available: 256-bit SSL. This is the same technology that banks use to keep account information safe.
Project Baseline is partnering with PicnicHealth to help collect your health records.
PicnicHealth can collect records that go back up to 7 years.
You may choose to delete your health records and data from the PicnicHealth service at any time and for any reason. Just email PicnicHealth at baseline@picnichealth.com. Once records have been collected by Project Baseline you can’t remove them from a particular study. Please reach out to Project Baseline if you would like to withdraw from the study.
No. You will receive PicnicHealth’s services free of charge. You may continue to access and view your health records collected as a part of Project Baseline even after the study is completed. Should youdecide to use PicnicHealth independently of Project Baseline to collect new health records, a fee may apply.
When you first see your records, it's possible that some of your records are not yet available. That's because PicnicHealth is still working hard to collect them for you. You should be able to see your health records within a month of signing up.
In the first month, your records might be missing because PicnicHealth is still collecting them for you. After the first month, if you suspect that records are still missing, you can let us know about those records by clicking "Requests" at the top of your account.
PicnicHealth will collect health records from all specialties, but will not collect dental and optometry records.
